Fashion design: The Seamstress of Rohan

Design and photoshoots inspired by the TV series The White Queen. Our characters are Margaret Beaufort and Elizabeth Woodville in late 15th century court gowns in pure silk and cotton velvet.

This is a gorgeous picture and I don't care if it's historically accurate or not. Love the setting and the dress. Especially the crown. It's the perfect finishing touch!

Thanks a lot! Well I tried to make it more accurate, the cut of the dress and the materials are... but yeah my inspiration came from the series ^^

Thanks! Yeah I enjoyed it lots, most people interested in historical clothing could notice the costumes were far from perfect (and other things we inaccurate too) but it was a low budget series and they did the best they could. It was very well acted even though the script was weak at times, I was waiting for a new episode every week! So I don't mind saying I enjoyed the thing immensely ^^
